Ian Mitchell Dodds is an artist and painter based in Toronto. His paintings focus on building systems where order and chaos play off one another. Drawing on the visual structure of comic books, he rearranges narrative sequences by blending positive and negative space, collapsing background into foreground. His work reimagines time as a non-linear network of moments and encourages viewers to rethink how we see opposites and dualities.
